Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock, KBE (13 August 1899 29 April 1980) was an English film director and producer. He pioneered many techniques in the suspense and psychological thriller genres. After a successful career in British cinema in both silent films and early talkies, Hitchcock moved to Hollywood. On 19 April 1955, he became an American citizen while remaining a British subject. The print measures 30 x 40 cm / 12 x 16 inches and has a black mount and a 2 cm black frame.
